The route

  1. Days 1 – 2

    Shimla

    Toy train from Kalka, Mall Road, Jakhoo ridge and Kufri.

  2. Day 3

    Drive to Manali

    The Beas river road with stops at Sundernagar and Kullu.

  3. Days 4 – 5

    Manali

    Solang valley, Atal tunnel, Sissu and Old Manali.

  4. Days 6 – 7

    Naggar and return

    Naggar castle, the Roerich estate, then the road down to Chandigarh.
